Greetings Arch is Arch Wednesday!
Worldwide arch count:

Black Glass Cyn Arch, AZ

Each week we update the World Arch Database (WAD) with newly reported arches as well as more acccurate data and/or photos for existing arch entries. Each Wednesday (day may vary), we send you a list of these updated arch entries with a summary of what has changed. Typically our weekly updates will focus on a certain area, state or country (although we may jump around the world at times!).

This week's updates:

Previously undocumented arches (search on the name or the number in the WAD):
UT-926: Pothole on E rim of Horse Cyn, UT (Stone Canyon)
Delicate Arch (another one!) and Black Glass Canyon Arch: Goldfield Mtns, AZ, E of Phoenix (Ted Tenney)
Four Twenty Arch: Interesting feature found in Grand Staircase-Escalante NM, UT, USA (Stan Wagon)

Canyonlands National Park, UT, USA, Island in the Sky District:
Coordinates and photos for Black Brush Bridges, Screamer, Coyote and Symphony Arches (David Kennedy).
Canyonlands NP, UT, USA, Lavender/Horse Cyns (Stone Canyon)
Symmetry Arch - new photo
UT-917 - photo
Kissing Arch - new photo and coordinates
Infinity Arch - new photo, coordinates and better directions
UT-50 - better directions
Double Potholes and UT-875 were found to be the same arch, so were combined into one entry.

Other updates:
CO-18: Was found to be a Buttress arch rather than an alcove arch because another opening was found on its side, creating the buttress (NABS group).

V20-17, Washington State coast, USA: Collapsed! (Ray Millar)
Flame Arch: This arch had three entries and was found to be the same arch as UT-849 and UT-475. Better coordinates and directions (Rob Jones, Stan Wagon)
Peavine Canyon Arch: Vreeland's 23-8 was given this name for easier reference. Better photo and directions (Rob Jones)
Rock Canyon Arch: Better photo and coordinates (Larry Beck)

New photos for: One Eye Window, Battleship Rock, CO-35 and No Name Arches (Cindy Bell)

Total updates: 23

Happy Arch Hunting!
yours truly,
Stone Canyon
