Today is Arch Wednesday! (OK, it was yesterday, we're a little behind!...)
Each week we update the World Arch Database with newly reported arches as well as more acccurate data and/or photos for existing arch entries.
Wednesday, we send you a list of these updated arch entries with a
summary of what has changed. Typically our weekly
updates will focus on a certain area, state or country, although we
may jump around the world at times!
This week's updates:
I have documented and re-documented several arches in the El Malpais
National Monument, New Mexico, USA, plus some others reported by
Big Tubes arch group: In the Big Tubes area of the El
Malpais NM, there are seven large arches, including two previously
Search on US>NM>Cibola county or these arch names: NM-6, NM-7, V17-9, Four Windows, V17-8 and others.

Sandstone Bluffs Arch: Better photo
Two previously undocumented arches reported by Larry Beck: Oasis
and Ramah Lake arches. He also provided a photo of Woodpecker
Arch. Two of these are in El Morro NM, New Mexico USA. Ramah
Lake arch is a few miles east of there.
